My name is Mark, and I founded Westfield Audio Arts, LLC in 2012. The company began as a vehicle for my own voice acting work, but began to morph into a boutique editing firm as requests for help with audio cleanup came my way.​ Between my own voice overs and the work I have done for other people, I've spent over a decade editing, mixing, mastering, and producing audio (including podcasts, audiobooks, radio commercials, and more). To this day, I still narrate audiobooks and truly love recording them!

Before this, I did everything from writing music, recording, touring, mixing, and accounting. Yup, accounting. And, believe it or not, the laser focus on details that accounting taught me has been vital to my success as an audio editor. 

I truly love "sculpting" audio so that it tells a story.

Your relationship with your listeners is intimate and personal. When audio is professionally edited, listeners become friends. Subpar audio breaks this relationship by distracting your audience and taking them out of the experience. Everything I ever do to an audio production is with one goal in mind – to help you turn listeners into friends.

Audio production and editing are true passions for me, and I always strive to bring that passion into every project. Whatever your audio may need – repair, noise reduction, EQ work, a multitude of techniques to make it sound like you and your guest were in the same room (when you were really on different continents) – I'll make sure it happens!

I work hard to create "invisible" edits – all of the "uhhs," "umms," noises, pops, coughs, and vocal stumbles gone without a trace and without the introduction of clicks or any noticeable transitions.

While I specialize in spoken-word audio, such as podcasts and audiobooks, if needed, I can create or add whatever is required to bring the listener on a journey with you (effects, music, foley... you name it!).
